WEST PALM BEACH, FL – For the second year in a row Eddy “Rawsrvnt” Puyol will bring his unique Hip-Hop Worship style to THE STORY Tour.

Presented by World Vision, the event is billed as a Christmas celebration with carols and a musical journey from Genesis to Revelation. It features a full choir and orchestra led by musical director Bernie Herms and songs from Casting Crowns’ Mark Hall, Jeremy Camp, Natalie Grant, Matthew West, Nichole Nordeman, and Selah.

Renowned author and pastor Randy Frazee co-wrote THE STORY project’s book component with Max Lucado and will be on the tour each night to bring its message to life.

“My world collided with Eddy’s (Rawsrvnt) world at THE STORY Tour 2011. He introduced me to the wonderful space of hip-hop as each evening he brought the house down with his performance,” Frazee said. “But, what blew me away the most is the man I got to know off stage. Eddy Puyol is the real deal with a heart of heavenly gold.”

In addition to traveling with the group for last year’s event, Rawsrvnt also performed THE STORY medley on the 43rd Dove Awards national telecast.

“Last year I heard Natalie Grant say that I raised the ‘cool factor’ of the tour,” Rawsrvnt said with a smile.

“She’s super cool and I’m looking forward to celebrating this joyous season with the audience and some of our faith’s most talented musicians.”

Hey family!

It’s hard to imagine that it’s almost Summer time! Wow! I can’t believe that my little brother Bobby’s about to graduate High School and begin his college career at UCONN! #GodisAmazing! Salute to everyone getting ready to graduate into there new destiny. Have fun, stay focused, and keep the faith!

Here’s an update on what’s going on.

I’ve been working for a while now with my band on our live set and sound and now we feel like we’re ready to start recording our first album together. This is going to be awesome! While we’re doing that, check out the Love Deluxe album featuring Richie Righteous, KJ-52, St. Matthew, and more now available on iTunes. There’s a brand new song that the band and I recorded for the album called “Beautiful/Be With You.” It has quickly become my family’s favorite. (Smile). My Dad has listened to it over 30 times. For those of you who follow me on Facebook and Twitter you probably remember me talking about performing at the very popular Elevation Church in North Carolina for their Easter services. Well, we finally have the footage! Praise the Lord! I’d love for you to check it out and pass it on to your family and friends. I was able to share my testimony on it and it has quickly impacted believers to non-believers. A friend of mine in Brazil connected with it so much that he translated it into Portuguese so he can impact his country. #GodisGood! Click here to watch.



Another highlight I wanna share with you is really personal to me. It’s one of those “Wow… My dreams finally came true” moments! After the band and I led worship at Crossover Church in Tampa, FL for their baptism services where we saw over a hundred people stand up and get baptized, we came back home to a phone call asking if I’d like to perform at the 43rd Annual Dove Awards in Atlanta, GA! It was like “For real?” Man #GodisGood! I was believing that this year I was going to perform at the Doves, which is like the Grammys for Christian Music, and when I got the phone call to be a part of THE STORY Tour medley I was in awe of how cool God is! There’s so much more to say about what else has been going on from our time in Seattle celebrating our good friend Heather Baker’s Bday, to the song I did with Thrill Da Playa called “El Shaddai,” to watching The Avengers, and more that I’d have you here for a while if I shared everything with you. Christian hip hop was represented through sets on the 43rd Annual Dove Awards on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 by Lecrae and Tedashii with DJ P Dogg and Rawsrvnt performing alongside Michael Tait of the Newsboys, Blanca Callahan of Group 1 Crew, Todd Smith of Selah and Natalie Grant for a special medley from THE STORY Tour.

Last December Rawsrvnt joined the tour which was billed as a Christmas spectacular with carols and a musical journey from Genesis to Revelation. It featured Steven Curtis Chapman, Newsboys, Natalie Grant, Selah, Anthem Lights, and special guests Max Lucado and Randy Frazee.

The 43rd Annual GMA Dove Awards was held at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA and filmed by Gospel Music Channel (GMC).

Hip hop worship artist Rawsrvnt will join Lecrae in representing Christian rap as a performer at the 2012 Dove Awards. Rawsrvnt’s segment will be part of The Story Tour montage.

Last December Rawsrvnt joined the tour which was billed as a Christmas spectacular with carols and a musical journey from Genesis to Revelation. It featured Steven Curtis Chapman, Newsboys, Natalie Grant, Selah, Anthem Lights, and special guests Max Lucado and Randy Frazee.

The 43rd Annual GMA Dove Awards will take place on April 19 at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta and be nationally televised on GMC TV on April 24 at 8:00PM Eastern.
